Sublime Theatre presents Father Abraham

During the month of September, The Sublime Theater will present "Father Abraham," an American Epic, on the life of Abraham Lincoln, by award-winning, local playwright David Brendan Hopes. 

Under the direction of Associate Artistic Director John Crutchfield, an ensemble of local actors and musicians will present "Earthly Power," this Saturday as the second rehearsed reading in the series.

The cast includes Matt Burke, Kristi DeVille, Matthew Harper, Kelley Hinman, Dusty McKeelan, Willie Repoley, Olivia Stuller, Elijah York, and the playwright, with live music on fiddle and banjo by Meredith McIntosh and John Crutchfield.

All readings begin at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:30) and are free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Seats may be reserved in advance with a minimum $5 contribution.
